Offering Approaches Tailored to Each State
We meet states where they are along the continuum of knowledge, capacity, and expertise. We assess current situations and offer phased-in approaches to integration to achieve person-centered care—from gaining Medicare proficiency, to increasing coordination across the two programs, to implementing fully integrated programs including transitioning to integrated dual eligible special needs plans (D-SNPs). This includes hands-on training and assistance that leads to sustainable in-house dual eligible population and integration expertise.
Our Administration and Operations Services
Includes direct project and program management and assisting states to use regulatory and contractual tools such as developing and operationalizing State Medicaid agency contracts with D-SNPs.
- Partner to implement initiatives and strengthen state policy and administrative capacity
- Provide project and program management
- Conduct data analysis and performance analytics including development of appropriate quality metrics
- Develop purchasing strategies alongside state actuaries and staff
- Develop, oversee, and operationalize State Medicaid agency contracts with Medicare dual eligible special needs plans (D-SNPs)
